Welcome to The Compass
By Lee K. Lowery, ASWA Executive Director
We are so pleased to launch The Compass, ASWA’s brand new e-magazine. By Kate Mulder, JNC Co-Chair
I’m sitting here writing this after coming from the Iowa caucuses last night. Wow – what an exciting experience - participating in the selection of a presidential candidate, getting to meet them in person, and having the media focus on our small state! The same can be said for participating in the ASWA/ASWCPA Joint National Conference each year. It’s exhilarating to be part of a national process and getting involved beyond our local sphere of influence. So be sure to set aside Oct. 28 to 30, 2008 to attend the JNC in Dallas, Texas this year.
