My, how time flies. It feels like we just installed the 2008-2009 boards and in a few weeks, our local chapters will be bringing in a new group to lead each chapter. Then we will be busy with graduation parties and summer vacations (see the online survey below), planning meetings for the upcoming year and before we know it, we’ll be sending our youngsters back to school. Here in Washington, DC, we’ve recently experienced some fantastic spring and summer temperatures combined with some dreadful, consecutive days of dreary rain. This is nothing new – DC natives expect this each year from Mother Nature because spring is a transitional season that takes us from winter to summer.
