The past two years have been absolutely amazing for me when it comes to my involvement with ASWA and the communications committee. In June of 2007, I was selected to serve as the Communications Director and begin what I thought was going to be an exciting journey and one full of some challenges. It was so much more. It seems almost impossible that nearly a year has passed since my first message to you last July.  As the saying goes, “My how time does fly.”  June brings an end to our fiscal year and it is a time to reflect on our chapter achievements and look forward to a new year, new goals and a new board.  The national board is no different, we anticipate the future but before we leave 2008-2009, we acknowledge the dedication of four of our board members who will be completing their board service as of June 30, 2009.   Read more >
