The ASWA Educational Foundation recently met at the South Central Regional Conference in St. Louis to begin planning for the 2009 – 2010 year. At the conference I heard speakers and attendees talk about the impact of the downturn in the economy. As I worked with our board to plan for the upcoming year, I thought about how The Foundation can provide opportunities for ASWA members to help those impacted by these tough economic times.
